Wireless terrestrial telecommunications technologies' development prospects in Russian Federation and frequency allotment issues

BUTENKO V.V., GURYANOV I.O., POSKAKUKHIN V.N.

Major wireless telecommunication technologies for broadband wireless access services are considered. Envisaged usage of wireless local networks, fixed wireless access and mobile broadband networks is described taking into account spectrum management aspects in Russian Federation. Main issues with spectrum resources are highlighted.

Limitations of mobility caused by backward channels' radiointerfaces

TCHELYSHEV V.D., YAKIMOVETS V.V.

Effect of limiting the mobility factors appointed by air interface reverse channels increases with the mass introduction of broadband services in the universal public networks with limited radio resources and liberalization of its use.

Mechanisms of a converged network’s functional elements' interaction when providing infocommunication services

EFIMUSHKIN V.A., UGLOV I.V.

A classification of services and their scenarios in a convergent network are suggested. Mechanisms of interaction of convergent network functional nodes while delivering services of various types are also studied. Control mechanisms and switching control of the convergent services has been analyzed. A set of recommendations on services scenarios optimization in the convergent networks is proposed.

Key words: Convergent network, services classification, service scenario.

Selecting a communication network’s structure taking into account its elements' life cycle

ZVYAGINTZEV M.V., MASLOV D.S., SOKOLOV N.A.

In article aspects of a choice of structure of a communication network are discussed. Research of the given problem has begun with a problem of Rappa devoted to search of a place of placing of a switch which led to the minimum expenses of the operators telecommunication. Then there were methods of calculation of networks of telecommunication with several switching stations.

Key words: network structure, network planning, lifetime, net present value, rational decision.

Error indication in aggregate communication channels

SAZONOV I.V., TZYBULIN M.K.

In work segments of a compound communication channel are considered. Errors in communication channels are analysed. The most effective indicators of measurement of quality of transfer in compound communication channels are presented. Application BER, as indicator of quality of a segment of a compound communication channel is considered. The most effective indicators of quality of a compound communication channel are given.

Key words: The composite channel, The information transfer channel, Metrics of errors, BER, «Second with errors».

Optical radiation transmission through atmospheric routes

KHAN V.A., MYSHKIN V.F., LENSKY V.N., BORISOV V.A., KEMELBEKOV B.Zh.

In article is described methods of the undertaking and results calculation factor of the transmission of the flow of the lazer radiation through weakenning area opened optical channel relationship. For weakenning area from law Bugera calculated change of efficient importance of the intensity each harmonic forming between two accounting points with provision for relations of the values to total intensity in the current point to intensities not lazer of the bunch. For the following accounting area importance amplitudes harmonic forming radiations changed their reduced importances on the end of the previous area.

Key words: Lazer, modes of resonator, beating, interferences flow, pulse, weakening factor, atmospheric route, range of issue, aerosol, turbulenc.

Development and study of a device for managing an optical beam in telecommunication systems

MANSUROV T.M., BEYBALAEV G.B.

Key words: optoelectronics, an optical communication system, an optical path, an optical signal, optoelectronic switch, a splitter, piezoceramics, piezoelectric engine, an optical fibre.

Fiber-optical communication lines prognostic monitoring

IVANOV A.B., KOTLYAR S.S., TASHOYAN A.F.

The development of fiber-optics transmission systems sets telecom operators with a problem of upgrading and in certain situations even altering end-to-end network monitoring infrastructure. These certain situations in particular could be caused by the necessity of moving from post-fact monitoring to prognostic monitoring which yields the opportunity of preventive network maintenance organization and as a result of more efficient network management. The essence of such monitoring at transmission media level could be the systems of malfunction prevention at telecom lines (SMPTL), where the processes of fiber-optics circuits testing and result analysis management could provide reliable prognostic data and notify the user of the possibility of future malfunctions.
