P.A. Abakumov, The Bonch-Bruevich Saint Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, post-graduate; pvl. abakumov@gmail.com

The self-organizing networks widely using is the important direction of the networks development today and in the nearest future. The Ubiquitous Sensor Networks (USN) is the one of the self-organizing networks base technologies. There are many cluster head selection algorithm for USN due to an almost unlimited number of USN applications. These head selection algorithms developed for planes (sensor field). Practically cluster head selection algorithms for 3D space for conditions for placing sensor nodes for 3D space do not exist. The new cluster head selection Maximum Coverage Algorithm (MCA) for 3D space is proposed in the paper, and it efficiency proved in the
comparison with the existing basic algorithm (LEACH).

THE FEATURES AND OPERATION OF THE BIO-INSPIRED ALGORITHMS FOR AD HOC WIRELESS NETWORKS

P.N. Boronin, The Bonch-Bruevich Saint Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, post-graduate; n3v3r0@gmail.com

The routing and cluster head selection algorithms development for ad-hoc wireless networks is the one of the important problems today. The biologically inspired routing and cluster head selection algorithms development is the new investigation area. The existing bio-inspired algorithms for ad-hoc wireless networks such as ant colonies and bee colonies algorithms are analyzed in the paper. The so-called «Lévy flights» bio-inspired algorithms are proposed for using in the ad-hoc wireless networks.

THE INTERNET OF NANOTHINGS AND NANONETWOKS

Y.A. Koucheryavy, Tampere University of Technologies (Finland), professor, Ph.D.; yk@cs.tut.fi
S.Balasubramaniam, Tampere University of Technologies (Finland), leading researcher, Ph.D.; sasi. bala@tut.fi

The concept of Internet of Things is becoming is one of the key paradigm of the Future Internet is becoming reality through first yet fragmental implementations in the area of sensor applications. The recent developments in nano-level research agenda stimulate visionary applications where communications between nano-scale objects or so-called machines is a key feature. The nano-scale machines shall be able to organize a communication network and deliver information from sender to receiver. It is deemed that nano-scale communications can be based on electromagnetic or biological means. This paper presents the results of studies on communication opportunities for bacterial nano networks.
Key words: Internet of Nanothings, nanonetworks, bacterial nanonetworks.

NEW PROBLEMS FOR TRAFFIC SERVICE IN EMERGENCIES

A.K. Levakov, Telecommunication networks maintenance in branch of Roctelecom «Center», director, Ph.D.; levakov1966@list.ru

The article discusses the three perspective objectives to improve traffic service in emergencies. Firstly, information feedback between participants of traffic handling is need. Secondly, knowledge base for the generalization of accumulated experience should be created. Thirdly, it seems appropriate to make active use of cognitive technologies for efficient resource management of the telecommunication network.
