NOISE IMMUNITY OF THE OPTIMAL SIGNALS' RECEPTION LOCATED ON A SURFACE OF N-DIMENSIONAL SPHERE

M.A. Bykhovskiy, MTUCI, professor, Dr. Sci. (Tech.); bykhmark@gmail.com

The author proposes a new method of the digit error probability (Per) calculation for multidimensional signals that belong to the category of surface spherical codes (the signal points lies on the surface of a sphere). The method allows to replicate the results earlier received by Shannon C. and a number of other well-known scientists who were applying much more complex methods. The proposed method results in materially simpler formulas for Per calculation that the formulas derived by others in earlier works. This paper builds on the article published in the «Electrosvyaz» Journal № 2, 2016 which covered the systems of message transmission by means of volume spherical codes (the signal points lies inside and on the surface of a sphere).

The article includes charts which show the relationship between Per and the dimension of signal space (normalized duration of transmitted signals) which contains the signals of optimal ensemble used for signal transmission. Additionally, there is a detailed discussion of important issues related to the practical choice of parameters ensemble of signals since such parameters have significant impact on noise immunity.

In article the analysis of the principles of construction and stages of evolution of the centers of service of calls on the PSTN and NGN networks is carried out, the structure of the intellectual center of the service of calls on the NGN network which is carrying out functions of automatic reception, collecting and processing of statistical information on the arriving demands for submission of the reporting on functioning and forecasting of behavior of the equipment of the center and a network in general in these or those situations is developed. The mathematical model of its functioning and algorithm of functioning of the developed intellectual center on the NGN network are developed structure of a database with the indication of functional subsystems. It is noted that collecting statistics about the arriving demands allows to estimate at the center for each segment of a network really quality indicators, qualities of work of each operator and service personnel, to determine the arising damages of subscriber lines by a network and to increase qualities of service to clients. Besides, unlike the previous centers the intellectual center of service of calls accepts and serves demands in the automatic mode.

FAULT TOLERANCE CLUSTERING ALGORITHM FOR WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS

N.Al-Qadami, «Telecommunication Networks and Data Transmission» department, The Bonch-Bruevich Saint-Petersburg State University of telecommunication, postgraduate; nas4yemen@gmail.com
A.E. Koucheryavy, «Telecommunication Networks and Data Transmission» department, The Bonch-Bruevich Saint-Petersburg State University of telecommunication, Chaired Professor, Dr.Sci.(Tech.); akouch@mail.ru

In wireless sensor networks that rely on clustering hierarchical structure for routing and information exchange, some nodes are essential and have a pivotal role in the clustering process and data routing. Consequently, any failures of these important nodes may cause paralysis of the network and effect on the quality of services and the reliability of the network. In this paper, we proposed a fault tolerant routing TEEN (FT-TEEN) algorithm which is a modified version of the well-known TEEN algorithm; FT-TEEN proposes vital solutions to some shortcomings of the pure TEEN. It provides fault detection, recovery process, reliability and quality of service. The simulation results showed a significant reliability in the amount of receiving data by the cluster heads and the base station compared to the amount of data in the reference TEEN algorithm. The developed algorithm can be used in the ground fragments flying ubiquitous sensor networks.

THRESHOLD PROPERTIES OF NETWORK STRUCTURES

M. Konovalov, leading researcher St.-Petersburg Branch of Radio Research & Development Institute (Branch NIIR-LONIIR), Professor Ph.D.; klm@loniir.ru

The article is devoted to the study of network structures from the point of view of the impact of the number of lines in the network connection, the indicator of structural stability. It is shown that the increase in the number of lines above a certain (threshold) value is not equivalent to the resources expended. Introduced the concept of «threshold saturation of network structure». Is a graphical interpretation of the saturation threshold probability network model. Reviewed possible ways of applying the results in practice.
Keywords: network, line, communication center, networking model, structural stability, reliability, connectivity of a network, probability of connectivity, spanning tree, graph, edge, node.
