KHARIN A.S., KALUGIN V.G., SUKHATSKY S.V., TVAROVSKY YU.V., SHORIN О.А., DU К.О.

The present article deals with the results of studies aimed at determining capability to assure electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of radio electronic facilities (REF) of short-range radio navigation and landing (SHORAN / RACON) and REF of land mobile radio networks (LMR) of GSM-900 standard in the range of E-GSM on the territory of Moscow. The study was conducted in 2009 — 2010, including preliminary, theoretical and experimental stages. In the course of studies the special method was developed and tested for obtaining experimental data characterizing the features of radio waves propagation under typical conditions for the studied REF. Processing of complex experimental data obtained for the subnet deployed within the Garden Ring of Moscow, made it possible to work out recommendations for the use of frequency channels (FC) in the range of E-GSM for the base stations (BS) of this subnet. The results of the part of the study related to the capability of assurance of EMC of REF in the LMR GSM-900 Network in the range of E-GSM on the territory of Moscow (within the Garden Ring) by means of REF SHORAN / RACON are proved by the results of flight experimental studies.

Key words: electromagnetic compatibility, radio electronic means, frequency channels, unintentional interference, GSM-900, theoretical studies, experimental studies, full-scale tests.

Method of assessing possible allotment of frequency bands for new radio technologies of data transmission

JAKIMENKO V.S., LYAKH R.V., JAKIMENKO A.V. JAKIMENKO V.V.

New methods of evaluation of the possibility of giving frequency bands to new radio technologies of transmitting data, based on the use of resource characteristics of radio frequency spectrum, is described. The methods presuppose quantitative specification of reserves of the spectrum in the frequency band, which is planned to be given to the new radio technology, and comparison of them with the spectrum needs of the latter. For investigation of the sufficiency of the reserves of the radio frequency spectrum, we offer a system of criteria for evaluating the possibility of meeting the spectrum needs of new radio technologies with single-level and multilevel architecture in the parts of the spectrum available in the whole territorial region or its zones.

Clustering of traffic flows to increase the effectiveness of information transmission for multiservice networks

STEPANOV S.N., SAVENKOV YU.YU.

Mechanisms of channel capacity distribution for multiservice traffic are studied. It is shown that with big differentiation in demands for number of channels needed to establish a connection an uncontrolled redistribution of channel capacity can occur in favor of particular flows of demands. To eliminate marked disadvantages the mechanisms of channel capacity distribution should be used. Among them is reservation, access control. In some cases to increase the effectiveness of channel usage it is recommended to use the clustering of incoming flows of requests according to the number of channels needed to establish a connection and subsequent separate serving of corresponding flows of requests.

Key words: model of multiservice network, channel capacity, reservation, clustering

Analysis of the non-poisson traffic’s time characteristics

BAKHAREVA N.F., KARTASHEVSKY I.V.

This article provides an analysis method for telecommunication traffic. This method allows basing on integer-valued random process to evaluate the correlation between the time intervals between events. In case of detection these correlations it is possible to calculate the energy spectrum of the time intervals sequence up to probability density evaluation.

Key words: traffic of multi-service networks, correlation of inter-arrival times, recovery rocesses.

Estimation of BLER in the OFDMA wireless data transmission network's propagation channel

MOISEEV S.N., KONDAKOV M.S.

A practical propagation channel robust algorithm of the block error rate estimation in the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing with the time division multiple access and the orthogonal frequency division multiple access broadband wireless access networks is proposed. We estimate the block error rate as a function of two variables, that is, the average signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and the normalized root mean square value of the SNR. We calculate the average and the root mean square values of the SNR within the set of the SNR per subcarrier values within the coding block. Our block error rate estimation algorithm adds more flexibility to the link adaptation algorithms. Moreover, it increases robustness of the link adaptation in the unknown propagation channels.

Key words: BLER estimation, link adaptation, SNR, OFDM/TDMA, OFDMA.

Algorithms of radio stations' reliable protection from radioelectronic warfare

BRAUDE-ZOLOTAREV Yu.M.

Specifications of various radio stations contain dangerous illusions of being protected from Radio War Devices (RWD). This work recommends algorithms for reliable protection of guard and digital messaging equipment from RWD. The recommendations are based on several reports, articles and patents published in 1997—2010 with descriptions of simple coders and decoders of countermeasure-resistant coding and absolutely cryptosafe (in C. Shannon’s terms) random numbers generators: encryptors with short key length and low power consumption. Under any realization (software and ASIC) they are much simpler than many existing encryptors. The preference is given to algorithms operating on binary shift register with non-stationary follow-up function. The recommendation emphasizes on wide-band signals with random Frequency Hopping (FH) and Time Hopping (TH), also contains description of a radio network operating with such signals.

Studing an integrated data network’s simulation model’s survivability

BLUKKE V.P., POPKOV V.K.

The questions of application methods of imitating modeling to the analysis of survivability of existing and perspective integrated information networks under destructive influence of various character are examined. For the decision of problems modeling of destructive influences (DI) on a network it is offered to use model on the basis of a non-stationary hierarchical hyper-net. As a parameter of survivability the size of the maximal flow in hyper-net, and revealing characteristic, appropriate to the given influence, changes of a flow in a network is examined.

Key words: imitating modeling, integrated information networks, destructive influences, non-stationary hierarchical hyper-net.

BARYSHNIKOV A.F.

Output filter attenuating out-of-band emission can alter transmitted signal, particularly it can increase signal’s peak-factor. For such tasks, where peak-factor is important, method of its reduction by altering signal’s phase spectrum is proposed in this article.
