A.V. Roslyakov, Povolzhskiy State University of Telecommunications and Informatics, head of the department of networks and communication systems, professor, Dr.Sci.(Tech.); arosl@mail.ru

Two concepts for the development of fixed networks for the coming years and in the longer term are considered. One of them was developed by ITU-T and was called «Network 2030», the second — F5G fixed communication networks, continues to be developed by ETSI. A brief analysis of the basic principles of these concepts is given and possible problems and difficulties in the way of their practical implementation are shown.

The research results presented in this paper concern information and telemetry support systems for the development of launch vehicles (ITSSLV). They show the relationship between the characteristics of telemetry information (TMI), primarily the characteristics of information losses (obtaining additional information), and general (generalized) indicators of ITSSLV development. The above-mentioned information losses are caused by the influence of uncertain factors of different nature. The degree of influence of these factors (the degree of distortion of signals/data containing TMI, the degree of TMI losses) depends on the chosen methods to counteract them, primarily on the applied methods and algorithms for TMI. These methods and algorithms are implemented in software and hardware facilities and information technologies the characteristics of which (in turn) affect the general (generalized) indicators. In this paper, the issues related to TMI losses and the corresponding uncertain factors related to downlink radio channels are studied in the most detailed way. For a better understanding of the essence of the relationship between the TMI characteristics and the general (generalized) indicators of ITSS LV development, the knowledge related to them is structured (systematized) in a new way.

Keywords: general (generalized) indicators, software and hardware facilities, information and telemetry support system for development of launch vehicles, telemetered object, telemetry information.

In modern conditions, the importance of solving problems of balanced spatial development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation (SRF) in the long term, including the harmonization of these SRFs in terms of the level of development and the use of telecommunication/ICT opportunities as a system-forming sphere of the national economy, is increasing. At the same time, it is proposed to assess the level of harmonization by rating the SRF. The article shows the possibility of implementing the SRF rating based on the index, the structure of which is determined, among other things, by the capabilities of official Russian statistics.

Keywords: balanced spatial development, ICT, National Universal Telecommunications Development Index (NUIRT), metrics/ indicators, benchmarking methods, rankings of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, International Telecommunication Union (ITU), ICT Development Index (IDI), thematic priorities, national statistical system.

Maximum length sequences over a field with a double extension have similar properties to binary M-sequences. This makes it possible to apply to this type of recurrent sequences the majority decoding principle based on the processing of their linear sections by the dual basis of the Galois field. A significant part of the article is devoted to the formation and processing of decimated sequences, which in the future are designed to significantly increase the reliability of the selection of the forming element of the initial combinations, especially in conditions of increased interference levels.

Keywords: Galois field, field with double extension, maximum length sequences, dual basis.

This paper focuses on the analysis and comparison of soft decision algorithms directed on the detection of quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM4) in a multiple input multiple output system with 8 receiving an 8 transmitting antennas (MIMO 8´8) using a direct-conversion receiver. Recurrent algorithms based on Kalman filtering, non-recurrent regularizing methods obtained using the modified least squares method (LSM), as well as the Zero Forcing and minimum mean square error (MMSE) algorithm are considered. Besides, a Rayleigh communication channel with Doppler spectrum spreading and additive Gaussian white noise was chosen to investigate the performance of proposed methods. It is shown that if the parameters of the communication channel are precisely known, the modified LSM has an advantage in noise immunity. In case of estimating a channel with an error, recurrent Kalman detectors and non-recurrent regularizing algorithms provide a lower level of the error rate of the information symbol detection.

Keywords: detection algorithms, regularization parameter, Kalman filtering, MIMO communication system, direct-conversion receiver, quadrature amplitude modulation.

A method of video stream coding for controlling unmanned systems is presented, which is based on a latent diffusion neural network model that allows to obtain a latent representation of a full-size image of a lower dimensionality on the basis of its latent representation. A scheme of the method is given and a formal description of the structure of its algorithm is made. To reduce the dimensionality of the latent representation of data, an algorithm of their quantization is proposed. The results of research on estimating the impact of data quantization on the quality of the transmitted video stream are presented.

The paper discusses methods for quickly searching for a target image based on an available sample using embedded systems based on microcontrollers. An algorithm for quickly identifying the features of the desired object in the image is proposed, which reduces the rarefaction of the probability layer, the contrast layer, and the complementary layer. At the final step of the algorithm, the segmentation of the complementary layer is performed, which combines pixels with high intensity. The results of the implementation of the algorithm, demonstrating its high efficiency, are presented.

Keywords: tracking, segmentation, tracking model, computer vision, microcontroller.

An orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system with linear precoding is investigated, which allows, due to the correlation properties of the received signal, to implement blind estimation of the parameters of the communication channel used. It is shown that at the receiving point, to estimate the transmission ratio of a communication channel with memory, it is possible to use a correlation matrix of samples of the observed signal, which is formed taking into account the properties of a special pre-encoder. By dividing the correlation matrix by the pre-coding matrix using the decomposition of the resulting matrix by singular values (SVD) of the resulting matrix, it became possible to obtain an estimate of the channel transmission coefficient sampling vector with an accuracy of scalar multiplier. Computer modeling has confirmed the possibility of using this method of blind evaluation of the properties of frequency-selective channels in communication systems with OFDM.

Keywords: frequency-selective channels, precoder, correlation matrix of samples of the received signal, singular matrix decomposition.
