In this paper, we perform the delay prediction in IoT and tactile Internet communication networks using a multistep ahead prediction (MSP) and single-step ahead prediction (SSP) with Time Series NARX (Nonlinear AutoRegressive with eXogenous inputs) Recurrent Neural Networks. The prediction accuracy has been evaluated using three neural network training algorithms (Trainlm, Traincgf, Trainrp) using the RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) and MAPE (Mean Absolute Percent Error) as predictive accuracy measure.

THE ROLE OF END-TO-END DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS

  • A.P. Ositis, International Telecommunication Academy, president, Honored signalman of the Russian Federation, professor, Ph.D.; info@ita.int.ru
  • V.A. Efimushkin, Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation, lead advisor, International Telecommunication Academy, chief scientific secretary, associate professor, Ph.D.; v.efimushkin@ac.gov.ru

The potential possibilities and areas of application of end-to-end digital technologies (EDT) in telecommunications are considered. The federal project «Digital Technologies» includes roadmaps of activities for eleven EDTs, among which EDT 5G directly focused on the development of telecommunications. It is shown that, although other EDTs and their subtechnologies are not explicitly related to telecommunications, nevertheless the impact of the achievements in the field of these EDTs on the development of communications can hardly be overestimated.

Keywords: critical infrastructure object, information system, classification, classifier, information and telecommunications network, computer network, information security, cyberspace, computer attack, network device.

The analysis of the largest classification models of computer attacks is carried out. It is proposed the classification, which formed on the basis of the main trends in the implementation of attacks in practice. A new approach to the classification of computer attacks on critical infrastructure objects takes into account ten components of the threat cycle: from a comprehensive study of an object of influence to the implementation of an attack.

  • M.A. Basarab, Bauman Moscow State Technical University (BMSTU), head of the department of information security, professor, Dr.Sci.(Phys.-Math.); bmic@mail.ru
  • R.A. Belfer, BMSTU, department of information security, associate professor, Ph.D.; a. belfer@yandex.ru
  • A.V. Kravtsov, Central Research Institute of the Air Forces, head of a department; skyak78@gmail.com

Keywords: united network simulator, private network, zonal networks, network management control, network operations center, information security, data transmission network.

The procedures for performing the main functions of centralized control of a training simulator of a special-purpose data transmission network (routing, information security, and fault management) are proposed. The procedures are discussed using an example of the configuration of a network simulator representing part of a country’s special-purpose data network (lower level, zonal networks). It is shown that it is possible to simplify the solution of the complex task of managing a special-purpose data transmission network simulator in comparison with the management of communication networks using Telecommunication Management Network (TMN) and management of virtual private routed network, using forced routing «from the source». The results of this work will be used to solve the problem of managing a network simulator, which is a complete configuration of the entire data network of a country.

  • R.M. Yakubovsky, LLC Thales Electronic Systems, project manager, Ph.D.; asv012016@gmail.com

Keywords: wireless local area network, broadband access network, localization, positioning, operational stability, personalized emergency rescue management system.

The article analyzes the possibilities of using local wireless broadband access networks in emergency management systems for rescue people. Methods of localization of users in dangerous conditions, ways of increasing the availability of information about them for the rescue control center, as well as the level of awareness of the users themselves about the plans of the center for their rescue are considered. It is proposed the original solution, that allows localization to be performed element by element, i.e. in rooms and certain areas of the system service area. It is shown that the solution can be successfully used to organize the network infrastructure of the facility part of the global expert system, which provides mass subscriber access at any time and in any place to the service of individualized management of the rescue of subscribers in case of natural or man-made disasters. Methods for enhancing network stability are presented, in particular, a method for constructing a peer-to-peer ad-hoc network using device-to-device communications.
