Sensor networks have implemented in many resent interest, such as remote tracking, atmospheric, flying sensor networks, space communications and environmental monitoring in real-time, etc. Although most wireless sensor networks are designed to work on two-dimensional plane (2D) in reality sensor networks usually deployed in three dimensional space (3D). Expanding wireless sensor networks from 2D to appropriate 3D spaces facing many difficulties and the network topology is getting more complex in 3D than the topology of 2D. This paper focuses on major issues in designing WSNs: coverage, connectivity, density criteria and the ratio of transmission range to sensing range in 2D and 3D WSNs, where the goal is to improve the accuracy of wireless sensor networks and the results of this paper could be used for extending the design of WSNs from 2D to 3D sensor networks.

Currently offers new algorithms to extend the life-time of the network by optimizing the links sensor nodes, data aggregation and load balancing between network nodes. Mobility of nodes in the network does not allow the successful use algorithms for static wireless sensor networks. Cluster head selection algorithm and the clustering algorithm for homogeneous mobile sensor network in three-dimensional space, presented in this paper provides a long service life-time of the network, the head node role rotation between the cluster members, the transition between clusters sensor nodes, data aggregation and transmission to the operator through the gateway, a division of comparable size clusters, allowing measurement parameters evenly throughout the network coverage. Computer simulation results show an increase in the life-time of the network when using the proposed algorithm in comparison with the algorithm of the organization wireless mobile sensor networks LEACH-M.

The influences of ultrashort electromagnetic pulses at a typical structure of ubiquitous sensor network was considered. Is shown formalized description of the problem to improve the noise immunity USN based calculation of the coefficient of efficiency of the network. A solution to the problem, which may result in applying the methods to identify options and protection USN, providing a predetermined value of the coefficient of efficiency and enhance the stability of the network. The decision represented a step description of the four phases, which are selected on the basis of methods of protection with minimal cost to the development and implementation of elements of the USN.

V. A. Mochalov, Institute of Cosmophysical Research and Radio Wave Propagation of the Far Eastern Branch of Russian Academy of Science (IKIR FEB RAS), senior researcher, Ph.D.; sensorlife@mail.ru

This article discusses the problem of constructing a flying sensor network (FSN) ground structure. In the proposed functional diagram of the FSN designing we can allocate the place of synthesis FSN ground structure functional block. The author propose generic multiagent bioinspired algorithm for synthesis of FSN ground structure. The results showed the possibility of using different self-organization animals models to solve some problems arising in the process of building self-organizing flying sensor networks.

VIDEO QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE EVALUATION BASED ON EMOTIONS

M. А. Makolkina, Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, associate professor, Ph.D.; makolkina@list.ru

This paper investigates the problem of assessing the quality of video transmitted over heterogeneous networks. The amount of video traffic in modern networks is huge enough to influence to the whole structure of network traffic, thus approaches to networks designing and to quality of experience assessing should be rethought. Quality of experience suggests an approach which uses a number of factors, such as impersonal, objective parameters and subjective parameters of personality, i. e., cultural background, mood, emotions. It was seemed impossible to evaluate emotions until recent time, but nowadays it is not a problem anymore. In this paper the new model ‚senses-experience-emotions-action‘ for QoE evaluation is suggested.
Keywords: emotions, quality of experience (QoE), OTT services, IPTV services, video QoE evaluation, UMA, UME, Hurst parameter, augmented reality.

N. N. Vilkova, CJSC «MNITI», General Director, Ph.D.; mniti@mniti.ru

System effectiveness of display of information of collective use is understood as efficiency of its functioning — property of use of system to destination. Four groups of the indicators providing a comprehensive assessment of efficiency are offered. From positions of system approach possible options of criteria of an assessment of system effectiveness are considered.

V. V. Chebychev, Moscow Technical University of Communication and Informatics, Head of technical electrodynamics and antennae department, professor, Dr.Sci.(Tech.); tedia@mtuci.ru
O. I. Yastrebtsova, Moscow Technical University of Communication and Informatics, master; yastrebtsova@rambler.ru

The method of the numerical solving of the first kind integral equations for wideband communication microstrip antennas designing in the form of flat double-threaded spirals is offered in this article. The method is the transition from a strict electrodynamic problem to the first kind integral equations for surface currents of antennas and their subsequent solving on the basis of the self-regulation principle. The examples of numerical analysis of spiral antennas in the form of equi-angle spirals and Archimedes spirals are given. Influence of the loaded screens on the spiral antennas frequency properties and also their comparison at the identical parameters of the layered substrate is shown.

ASSESSMENT OF TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF OPTICAL CABLES MONITORING SYSTEM ON OPERATORS‘ TRANSPORT NETWORKS

E. B. Alexeev, professor, Dr.Sci.(Tech.); aleks-ipk@yandex.ru

Reviewed the feasibility aspect of the feasibility of a monitoring system of optical cables (SMOK) on the trunk, zonal and local FOL, based on the ratio of costs for traffic loss because of failures and the cost of implementing a SMOKE. For the valuation of the effectiveness of measures to improve network reliability by implementing SMOK determined additional time for use of channels obtained by reducing the duration of outages. From the assessment results suggest that the introduction of SMOK on all the FOL generally results in positive technical and economic effect in the process of operation due to the compensation of costs on local networks and access networks at the expense of profit on trunk and regional area networks.
Keywords: transport network of operators, monitoring system of optical cables, elementary cable section (or optical transmission section), the availability (downtime), technical and economic efficiency.
