The technique of research of relation between parameters and directivity characteristics of the ring antenna array (RAA) is proposed. It is produced that the formation of a given pattern was conducted in two stages, which allows to provide the required beam width and a given level of side lobes while maintaining the physical practicability of directivity RAA. The relation betweenparameters of RAA and its directivity characteristics is analyzed on the basis of the developed technique. The relationship of the parameters determining the ratio of beam width and side lobe level, with the radius and number of RAA emitters are investigated.
Keywords: ring antenna array, directivity pattern, beam width, side lobe level, amplitude and phase synthesis.

The article is devoted to the efficiency rating of the differential space-time block coding (DSTBC). The encoding scheme based on the technology of Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) and relative phase modulation principle, which does not require knowledge of channel state information by the receiver on some minor assumptions. Simulation of the encoding/decoding scheme executed in MATLAB software package for different numbers of antennas on transmitting and receiving sides.

STC FORMING FOR LARGE-SCALE MIMO SYSTEMS

V.B. Kreindelin, MTUCI, professor, Dr. Sci. (Tech.); vitkrend@gmail.com
A.A. Reznev, Institute of Cellular Communication, deputy general director; andrey.reznev@gmail.com

Implementation of technologies of multiantenna MIMO systems in mobile communication opens ample opportunities for research of various quasioptimal space-time coding matrixes. Increase in number of both transmitting and receiving antennas requires increase of code dimension to keep its performance. Known methods of increase code dimension are generalized. As one of methods, the way of increase in dimension of an existential Golden type code is proposed. Statistical simulation of system with proposed code in comparison with BLAST code is carried out. Simulation results presented as plots show a considerable increase in performance.

V.Yu. Goikhman, The Bonch-Bruevich Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, senior lecturer, Ph.D.; vg@sotsbi.ru
T.Yu. Lushnikova, The Bonch-Bruevich Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, graduate student; lushnikova@iks.sut.ru

We analyzed campus traffic collected by Cisco Netflow and identified the basic patterns of the network load. The hypothesis that the main traffic of multiprotocol network is incoming confirmed. Also, the most common application layer protocol is HTTP, which has become the basis for providing OTT services. Besides, we defined the main types of traffic, revealed that about half of all transmitted data are interactive including nearly a third of all incoming information is social networking traffic.

K.S. Gorshkov, ITMO University, Department of EEPEMS, associate professor, Ph.D.; K. Gorshkov@list.ru

An accurate and efficient method for modeling and analysis of on-chip interconnects is presented. The proposed technique is based on circuit decomposition approach and provides the recursive calculation of T-tree transfer function. The symbolic expressions of voltagetransfer functions of the large-scale integrated interconnect structures are determined. To demonstrate the validity of the proposed method, lumped T-tree networks of different levels for the microelectronic interconnect application are simulated. Excellent agreement between the modeling results and SPICE-computations is found both in frequency- and time-domains.
