For the analysis of traffic of multiservice networks, namely processes of arrival and service of requests (especially at the access level) use distributions with a «heavy» tail. By means of methods of the queuing systems (QS) of the general view (G/G/1 type) which simulation describes processing of multimedia traffic, it is possible to receive and estimate analytically value of average wait time of the request at queues. It is actual as the main characteristics of QS are derivative of average wait time of the request in queue.

I. A. Bogdanov, St-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, Postgraduate; seti_sviazi@bk.ru

The Wireless Sensor Networks is one of the most important technologies now. The sensor networks are the self-organizing. There are many specific features for self-organizing Wireless Sensor Networks including network-based security. The Wireless Sensor Network bulwark method of spurious event flows is proposed in the paper. The sensor field is divided by two areas. It proved that the optimal value of sensor nodes density between both areas existing. The numerical characteristics are defined for both areas for sensor fields with differences density.

CHANNEL CAPACITY AND SPECTRUM CHARACTERISTICS ANALYSIS OF NANONETWORKS THROUGH TRANSPARENCY WINDOWS IN THE TERAHERTZ BAND

P. N. Boronin, St-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, postgraduate; n3v3r0@gmail.com
Y. A. Koucheryavy, Tampere University of Technology (Finland), Рrofessor
D. A. Molchanov, Tampere University of Technology (Finland), Аssociated professor

The expectedly very limited communication distance of nanoscale machines in the Terahertz Band (0.1−10 THz) is one of the main factors narrowing the scope of the nanonetworking applications. In this paper, the use of the transparency windows in the THz Band, which provide molecular-absorption-free transmission, is proposed as a way to extend the communication distance of nanomachines. The trade-offs between the signal-to-noise (SNR) ratio, channel capacity, transmission bandwidth and communication distance for these windows are identified.

THE PRINCIPLES OF CREATION OF THE NATIONAL ALERT SYSTEM OF THE POPULATION ABOUT EMERGENCY SITUATIONS BASED ON THE DIGITAL TV DVB-T2 TECHNOLOGY

K. N. Bystrushkin, СJSC MNITI, Deputy Director, Ph.D.; bkn@mniti.ru

In conditions of increase in terrorist dangers, as well as numerous natural and techngenic catastrophes, the task of secure alerting the population is becoming increasingly important. In real extreme conditions traditional systems of alerting the public under adverse conditions will not be able to agree these problems. To increase the reliability of alerts are propose to use network digital broadcasting DVB-T2 with reception of these signals to the mobile terminals.

A. V. Abilov, Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University, Docent, Ph. D; albert. abilov@istu.ru

In this paper, routing protocols for MANET (mobile ad hoc networks) are mentioned. Protocols are classified by their route discovery mechanism. Optimal routes are determined based on routing metrics. In this paper, we give an overview of routing metrics for MANET. However, many technical issues still exist in this field. In order to provide a better understanding of the research challenges, this article presents a detailed investigation of current protocols and algorithms for MANETs.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF NUMBER PORTABILITY IN THE LOCAL FIXED NETWORKS

L. A. Kozadaeva, FSUE ZNIIS, Leading researcher; kozadaeva@zniis.ru

Experience of the European countries and the USA in the field of introduction of number portability service in local fixed networks is presented. Features and kinds of service connected with need of ensuring physical access for new operators to subscriber lines of the former operator and preservation of the tariffing operating principles are shown. The above information can be useful for operators of the Russian Federation, as local number portability in fixed networks were not previously considered, although currently portability location would be very marketable.

SPECTRAL SOLUTION OF THE LINDLEY INTEGRAL EQUATION FOR NODE OF MULTISERVICE NETWORK SERVING MULTIMEDIA TRAFFIC

M. S. Samoilov, JSC «Concern «Automation», Leading engineer-designer; samoilovms@mail.ru

Statistical studies confirm the self-similar nature of multimedia traffic. Consequently, the correct model of queuing theory, which describes the components of multiservice network is a model of type G/G /1 or G/G /n. One way to describe the multi-service network node with its study as a queuing system is to find the waiting time distribution and the average waiting time of packets of multimedia traffic in the queue with a solution of the Lindley integral equation.
Keywords: multimedia traffic, approximation, queueing systems, Lindley integral equation.
