Studies of USN traffic models for the transmission of image data have shown that the properties of the traffic flow depends on the fraction of nodes that transmit the data. Increasing the proportion of nodes that transmit image data leads to changing of the self-similarity degree of traffic (Hurst parameter). Using the simulation has been obtained the dependence of the Hurst coefficient from the number of nodes (proportion) that transmit the image data, and this dependence has an expressed maximum. These reasons are related to the change in the number of nodes, generating traffic, and with the load on the common channel to the gateway. The explanation of this result may be obtained by analyzing the influence of united traffic flows on the Hurst coefficient and the influence it loads on the transmission channel. The paper provides theoretical substantiation for this phenomenon, as well as the dependence of properties on served requests flow from traffic intensity of the incoming traffic for ubiquitous sensor networks.
